Someone threw away this great condition set of stow and go seats in the dumpster by my apartment. I have no clue why but I’m 99% sure I can make these fit in the Jag by unbolting the huge stow and go bracket and welding on some tabs. They’re narrower than most car seats so they *should* fit a treat. Right now they’re sitting in my living room (I’m sitting on one as I type this) and these things are comfy as all hell. They have armrests! And when I don’t have a passenger I can fold that one all the way forward and it has cupholders molded into the back! How cool is that shit?

I think it is more likely that someone was made on it.

No, they came out of a minivan. Somebody was already made to necessitate those seats being bought.

It wasn’t kid number one but it might have been kid 2 or 3. That or mom let the kid take her car to date night.

Those look to be out of a Chevy venture or similar.

As a prior owner of a Mopar minivan, definetly not stow n go seats. Too much padding a too big a head rest. Good score though. Hope they work for you.

Another commenter suggested they may be Chevy Venture seats which appears to be the case.

given everyone’s saying that these seats came out of a venture-
does this make it venture capitalism?

You and me think alike. Found these on the side of the road 6 months back. They went into my beater CRX... I think they came from a Ford windstar. Dual armrests and cupholders, twas a tight fit in the CRX though

Random story time. In high school (90’s) I worked at a gas station and garage on the edge of a poorer neighborhood. Across the street was a large single-home property. Guy there owned a painting company and brought his fleet in for service. One day we got word from one of his employees that he had blown his head off with a shotgun while lying in his bed the night before. About two days later was trash day and the mattress was out there with a blue tarp over it. I watched from the front window at the cash register for hours as cars headed towards the poorer part of town stopped, got out, pulled back the tarp, saw the huge bloodstain, and ran back to their cars in horror and sped away.

Those don’t look the most comfortable.
I wish there was a way to put the Lincoln 30-way seats - or even front Volvo seats, which could work if Volvo used Ford connectors - into my Mazda. I only say that because of one collapsed bolster, and Volvo seats are soooooo damn comfy, as are the Lincoln seats of course.

First I went with “custom” cross brackets to attach the original ford seat pans to the Honda rails but it sat too high, about a quarter inch clearance from my head to the headliner.
After that failure I swapped the seat pans. Was able to drill out one mount hole on each side of the Honda seat pans to mount the Ford seat back to them. I then welded the other mount hole from the Ford seat back to the Honda pan. Only took an hour per seat. It also meant I could use the original seat belt mount and clip as they mount to the seat rail.
I only managed to catch the seats on fire twice while welding them

See, now your seats are heated, and on the cheap.
